Brown Bag: Port-City Relationships - a new research project

This BB seminar will launch a new 4 year research project on Danish port-city relationships. The research will be a collaboration with 9 Danish ports, all having or having had international ferry connections. Thus, the research will be a comparative study, looking into how large flows of people and goods affect the local towns/cities in terms of e.g. built environment and urban structures, policies and local planning strategies, local communities and identity building, socio economic status, industry and tourism. The presenters would appreciate any feedback and ideas for conducting and improving this newly started research project.
