Check out our new 2 year master programme in Mobilities & Urban Studies at the Department of Architecture, Design & Media Technology at Aalborg University in Denmark.
The programme aims at educating students for a new, cross-disciplinary profession within mobilities that can contribute to handling the growing challenges facing society, businesses and individuals in relation to the development within mobilities. Specifically, this new profession aims at integrating the diverse challenges that are related to an increasing physical traffic and transportation (by car, plane and train alike), increased use of virtual mobilities (mobile phones and smart transport systems), increasing tourism and migration and the wish for more environmentally friendly and sustainable modes of transportation. The aim of the programme is, thus, to train graduates who are able to contribute to handling the challenges that are related to the various forms of mobilities and to integrate these forms of mobilities at the highest international level. Thus, graduates of the programme must be able to integrate and work out new technological, environmental, urban planning related, economical, organisational, political and social solutions, designs and strategies in the field of mobilities.
